Pasture-Raised Poultry

Raised in small groups during warm summer months on rotated pasture allows birds to always have access to fresh, dry ground. They are able to forage the green grasses, fresh air & sunshine with protection from the elements.

While something so natural as raising birds out in grass may seem so easy, Pasture-raised birds come with their own set of challenges. Fresh water is hauled daily, multiple times a day and other birds and small predators pose a risk to their safety. Creativity and sleepless nights are involved with raising these guys. Though it is worth the reward of a healthy bird at slaughter. Pasture raised birds are known to contain more vitamins and less saturated fat in their meats—providing a healthier and IMO, the best tasting bird!
